Project Bader

Aims & functions

Project Bader aims to:

"Introduce within the ACO an electronic management and administrative environment connecting HQAC, Regions, Wings, VGS and Sqns via the Web." (Commandant's Charter 2006)

From this charter, Project Bader has developed three functions, each designed for delivery through the secure web-based systems:

  • ACO E-mail System - using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), all units and Staff Officers to be issued @aircadets.org e-mail addresses.
  • ACO Sharepoint System - using Microsoft Sharepoint 2.0, this is a multi-level document storage portal.
  • ACO Squadron Management System - using an ASP-application custom designed by ACO volunteer staff, the Squadron Management System (SMS) is designed to ease the administrative burden across the ACO by connecting squadrons to their respective Wings, Regions and HQAC.
